Google’s LBC’s Dashboard Gets a Facelift

Google’s LBC is finally integrating some analytics to their dashboard. I always hated that you can’t track the data on these free local listings. I know a ton of people can find businesses this way, but they may never click through to your actual website thus leaving you no data except that you had a visit.

Here’s what to expect from the new LBC dashboard: (Just pause the video at 51 seconds and you’ll see some of the cool features).

  • Impressions will tell users how many times the business listing appeared as a result in a search of Google.com search or Google Maps during a given period.
  • Actions will show the number of times searchers interacted with a listing. One example is the number of driving directions requests.
  • Top search queries shows which keywords drove searchers to a business listing.
  • Zip codes will be listed to show where driving directions were requested from.

Some brilliant data, that should help business better optimize their listings and web properties.

Tell us what you think of the new dashboard…?
