Google Goggles or QR Codes…?

Google Goggles makes me want to get an Android phone.  I’m getting tired of my iPhone (especially since Rogers is consistently sold out of the iPhone 4)

I thought QR codes would be the next mobile fad, but why use a QR Codes when you can just take a picture of the product, poster, whatever.  The funny thing is Google might just get everyone to index all their products too.  You gotta love the concept of crowdsourcing.

The concept is simple and I think it integrates beautifully with mobile.  It provides a rich user experience for consumers on the go.

How do you see Google Goggles influencing marketing of products…?  Do you think this is something small businesses can leverage?

Hey Jim, thanks for stopping by. I’m a fan of your work and I think you have hung with my friend Dev. We’ll all have to have a SEO’er dinner in Toronto some time. :) Just looking at Ngram now. Interesting.

This is my fist time hearing about Google Goggles, but it seems to be quite an useful feature. Thanks!
